PC1 Group Joint Stock Company – My Dinh will conduct the construction, and Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 2 will provide supervision service.
The project includes the following scopes:
- Converting the 220kV Chu Se substation diagram from a triangle to a quadrangle configuration.
- Installing a second 220kV transformer with a 1 x 125 MVA capacity.
- Installing two 110kV outgoing circuits.
- Installing a loop circuit breaker on the 110kV side.
- Completing the double busbar scheme with a ring busbar.
- Ensuring that the control and protection system aligns with the new substation configuration.
The construction will take place within the premises of the 220kV Chu Se substation located in Ia Pal commune, Chu Se district, Gia Lai province.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Anh, Deputy Director of PMB, stated that upon completion, the project would meet the increasing power demand, enhance the reliability, safety, and stability of the southern power grid in Gia Lai province, strengthen the interconnection of the regional power grid, improve reliability, safety, and reduce losses in the transmission grid.
The "Installation of the second transformer at 220kV Chu Se Substation" project will also facilitate the transmission of power from hydropower plants and renewable energy sources in the area to the national power system.
