Contract signing for EPC package of 220kV Vinh Hao Substation and Interconnection Line
On February 9th, in Hanoi, Power Project Management Board 2 (EVNPMB 2) organized the signing ceremony for the EPC package No.3: Design, Supply of Goods, and Construction of Project " 220kV Vinh Hao Substation and 220kV Interconnection Line".
The “220kV Vinh Hao Substation and 220kV Interconnection Line” project is being constructed in Vinh Hao commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province, with Vietnam Electricity (EVN) as the investor and EVNPMB 2 representing the investor in project management and operation. This is an unmanned substation with two 220kV - 250MVA transformers. The 220kV interconnection line is approximately 1.3km long.
The No.3 package is the main package of the project. The winning consortium comprises Telematic Joint Stock Company, Computer - Communication – Control 3C Incorporation, Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4, TOSHIBA Transmission & Distribution Systems (Vietnam) LTD and Alphanam E&C Joint Stock Company.

The project is invested in enhancing the transmission grid capacity, releasing the capacity of renewable energy sources in Binh Thuan province and surrounding areas, and ensuring reliable operation of the 110kV Phan Ri - Ninh Phuoc transmission line in the N-1 contingency mode. The project will be completed and energized in the third quarter of 2022.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Tien, Deputy Director of EVNPMB 2 and Director of Project Operations, stated that recognizing the importance of this package, based on the contractor selection plan approved by EVN, EVNPMB 2 has carried out the bidding and evaluation procedures following the current regulations to ensure fairness and transparency in the bidding process. The consortium of contractors consists of units with extensive experience in implementing EVN's power projects. Completing the contractor selection procedures and signing the Contract for Package No. 03 of the project today has special significance in the project's major milestones.
At the signing ceremony, the consortium of contractors committed to mobilizing maximum human and material resources to ensure the quality of goods and equipment supply, progress, and the highest quality and safety.
