Energizing the 110kV Phu My substation and transmission lines in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province

On March 30^th 2024, the Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) directed relevant units to energize the 110kV Phu My Substation and transmission lines in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

EVNSPC invested in the 110kV Phu My Substation and transmission line project with a total investment of around 86.6 billion VND from loan capital. The project was commenced on February 24^th 2023 in Phu My ward, Phu My town, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

The project has a scale of 2x63 MVA, with the first phase installing 1x63 MVA transformer, 02 bays for 110kV transmission lines and 01 110kV incoming feeder, and a 60m-long 110kV underground cable. The substation is designed as the first compact substation in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

The project was implemented to enhance the reliability of power supply for the load in Phu My town, support transmission between the 110kV My Xuan A, Phu My and Thi Vai substations in case of incidents, shorten the power supply radius, improve power quality and reduce losses on the regional grid. Additionally, the 110kV Phu My Substation and transmission lines will meet the socio-economic development needs of Phu My port city in particular and Ba Ria - Vung Tau province in general in the future.

With resolute direction from the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial People's Committee and EVNSPC, close cooperation between the Southern Power Projects Management Board, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Power Company, Phu My Town People's Committee’s active support together with local departments, relevant units such as the Engineering Consultant - Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (EVNPECC4), Southern Electrical Testing Company, Construction Contractor - PC1 Group Joint Stock Company, the 110kV Phu My Substation and transmission lines project has been successfully energized, tested, and put into operation.

The completion of construction, energization and putting into operation of the project has significantly contributed to grid connection, creating a loop among the 110kV Ga Ba Ria - Phu My Town (Tan Hanh) - Phu My - Phu My 1 substations to meet load development needs and increase reliability of power supply for Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, following the direction of EVN and EVNSPC.

Gia Lai Approved Investment Policy for the Se San 3 Hydropower Plant Expansion

The Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee has recently approved the investment policy and concurrently approved Vietnam Electricity (EVN) as the investor for the Se San 3 Hydropower Plant Expansion Project. The project will be implemented in Ia Ly Commune, Gia Lai Province, and Ya Ly Commune, Quang Ngai Province.

Gia Lai approves investment policy for Sesan 4 Hydropower Plant Expansion Project

The Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee issued Decision No. 3625/QD-UBND dated August 23, 2026, approving the investment policy and simultaneously approving Vietnam Electricity (EVN) as the investor of the Sesan 4 Hydropower Plant Expansion Project. The project has a design capacity of 120MW and a total investment of nearly VND 3 trillion.

On August 24th 2026, at its Headquarters at 11 Hoang Hoa Tham Street, Nha Trang Ward, Khanh Hoa Province, Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (PECC4), stock code TV4, successfully organized its 2026 Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders in accordance with the prescribed procedures, formalities, and applicable laws. The Meeting was attended and directed by representatives of Vietnam Electricity (EVN), including Ms. Pham Thi Thuy Ha - EVN’s Board Member; Mr. Tran Vinh Thai - Deputy Head of Corporate Planning Department; and Ms. Pham Huong Giang - Officer of Corporate Planning Department, together with 46 PECC4 shareholders, representing 14,850,719 shares, equivalent to 75.07% of the Company’s total voting shares.

On the afternoon of August 18th 2026, at My Anh Football Field in Nha Trang Ward, Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (EVNPECC4) participated in a football tournament commemorating the 81st Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People’s Public Security Forces of Vietnam (19/8/1945 - 19/8/2026). The tournament was organized by the Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention Division of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police.
