Energy Transition - an inevitable trend of Energy Sector in Vietnam

Nowadays, Energy Transition (ET) is a “key word” usually mentioned in Energy Forums in Vietnam and around the world, it is an inevitable transition process in shifting from fossil fuels to alternative sources such as renewables and new energy (RE & NE).

In the training program to raise awareness for energy specialized participants in the Central - Highlands region, co-organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AMCHAM) and VATEC Company in Nha Trang on 22nd September 2023, Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (EVNPECC4) presented the topic "Energy transition trends and the importance of renewable energy & new energy to achieve sustainable development goals".

The topic gave trainees knowledges about ET and its importance for socio-economic development in the new period, in which RE & NE play a decisive role in ensuring energy security and sustainable economic development.

In the near future, with the contributions of various authorities and sectors, a green environment will be recreated through reasonable actions and roadmaps led by the Green Energy.
