EVN held graduation ceremony for Level 2 management training program in the Southern region

On August 22nd, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Electricity (EVN) organized the graduation ceremony for the Level 2 management training program in the Southern region. Mr. Dang Hoang An - Chairman of the Board of EVN attended and directly shared and exchanged with 25 trainees at the program.

The training program commenced on July 23rd, designed for the Level-2 managers and those in the planning framework for Level-2 management positions at  EVN's units. Some training contents included: strategic management, finance, human resources, risk management, innovation leadership, application of digital technology in business administration…

At the program, Chairman of the Board of EVN Dang Hoang An affirmed that training for managers needs to be implemented regularly, including both management content and specialized in-depth topics, which can be organized annually to consolidate and update knowledge. The Chairman of the Board of EVN also emphasized the importance of strengthening international exchange and cooperation to learn from global experience, adopt modern management methods, thereby enhancing the capacity of the workforce.

In the context of the electricity industry facing new development requirements, the training and capacity-building for managers is becoming increasingly important.

Chairman of the Board of EVN Dang Hoang An spent time sharing with trainees about the development trends of the industry and the challenges posed to management work. Understanding development trends, new requirements in management work and the EVN's strategic orientation is the foundation for enhancing capacity, consolidating proactivity and flexibility in practical operational work, consistent with long-term objectives, meeting the development requirements of the electricity industry in the new context.
