EVN leaders inspect construction site of Bac Ai Pumped Storage Hydropower Plant Project

On the morning of 26 March 2026, in Bac Ai Tay commune, Khanh Hoa Province, the EVN delegation, led by EVN Vice President Pham Hong Phuong, inspected the construction progress at the Bac Ai Pumped Storage Hydropower Plant Project site.

According to the report of the Power Project Management Board 3 (EVNPMB3), in the first quarter of 2026, many critical path items of the Bac Ai Pumped Storage Hydropower Plant Project achieved positive results, contributing to the consolidation of overall progress. The construction and operation access and ventilation tunnels have achieved over 55% cumulative progress. Meanwhile, the downstream valve tower has completed open excavation works and is undergoing shotcrete reinforcement of slopes, reaching 24.3% of the first-quarter plan.

As of March 8, 2026, the contractor has completed the installation of the crushing plant equipment and is now carrying out material testing before commencing large-scale crushing and screening of aggregates for project supply. Accordingly, the excavated soil and rock will be transported to two crushing and screening plants to create crushed stone aggregate for road embankment construction, roadbeds in tunnels, and as material for spraying concrete to reinforce the slopes and tunnel arches. Gia Lai Approved Investment Policy for the Se San 3 Hydropower Plant Expansion

The Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee has recently approved the investment policy and concurrently approved Vietnam Electricity (EVN) as the investor for the Se San 3 Hydropower Plant Expansion Project. The project will be implemented in Ia Ly Commune, Gia Lai Province, and Ya Ly Commune, Quang Ngai Province.

Gia Lai approves investment policy for Sesan 4 Hydropower Plant Expansion Project

The Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee issued Decision No. 3625/QD-UBND dated August 23, 2026, approving the investment policy and simultaneously approving Vietnam Electricity (EVN) as the investor of the Sesan 4 Hydropower Plant Expansion Project. The project has a design capacity of 120MW and a total investment of nearly VND 3 trillion.

On the afternoon of August 18th 2026, at My Anh Football Field in Nha Trang Ward, Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (EVNPECC4) participated in a football tournament commemorating the 81st Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People’s Public Security Forces of Vietnam (19/8/1945 - 19/8/2026). The tournament was organized by the Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention Division of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police.
