EVNPECC1-EVNPECC4 Joint Venture signed contract for surveying and engineering consulting bidding package of 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen Transmission Line Project

On November 19^th 2024, in Hanoi, a contract signing ceremony for the surveying and engineering consulting bidding package of 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen Transmission Line Project was held between Power Project Management Board 1 and the Joint Venture of Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 1 (EVNPECC1) and Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (EVNPECC4).

The project, with a total investment of over 7,000 billion VND, is invested by EVN. The transmission line is approximately 228.92 km long and passes through the provinces of Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Phu Tho, and Vinh Phuc. This is a key project, scheduled to commence construction no later than April 30^th 2025, and be fully energized by December 31^st 2025. The project aims to strengthen the power grid, enhance the safe and stable operation of the power system, and address the electricity shortage in the Northern region in 2026-2027 and upcoming period.

Following the success in contributing to the "miracle" of completing the 500kV circuit-3 Quang Trach - Pho Noi Transmission Line Project, EVNPECC4's Executive Board has decisively directed the Company’s employees and engineers to participate in the implementation of the 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen Transmission Line Project, ensuring the project is completed on schedule. With the highest determination, EVNPECC4 has focused the Company’s resources and proactively implemented related tasks in parallel and synchronously to ensure the project's quality and efficiency.

Training on the BIM Software Ecosystem for EVNPECC4's Professional Consulting Engineers

Continuing its efforts to provide training and enhance the skills required to use software supporting surveying and engineering consulting activities, on 19th June 2026, Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company No. 4 (EVNPECC4) signed a training contract with the Research and Development of Software in Construction (RDSIC) under the Hanoi University of Civil Engineering to organize Building Information Modeling (BIM) training courses for EVNPECC4's professional consulting engineers.

500kV Hoa Binh Substation Upgraded to 1,800MVA, Strengthening Power Supply for Northern Vietnam Ahead of This Year’s Peak Heat Season

At 20:22 on April 29th 2026, the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), in coordination with the Power Transmission Project Management Board (NPTPMB) and the National Power System and Market Operation Co., Ltd. (NSMO), successfully energized the project to upgrade the capacity of the 500kV Hoa Binh Substation, increasing its capacity from 1,350MVA to 1,800MVA.
