EVNPECC4 collaborated with TPK Electric – Eaton Electric to organize a seminar introducing new modules of CYME software
On July 31st 2025, in Khanh Hoa province, Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (EVNPECC4) collaborated with TPK Electric – Eaton Electric to organize a Seminar introducing new Modules of CYME software.
TPK Electric is the development partner and official distributor of CYME electrical system analysis software solutions by Eaton Electric in Vietnam. The CYME software suite includes software such as CYMCAP (underground cable analysis) and CYMDIST (electrical system simulation), CYMGRD (Grounding system analysis). CYME software helps simulate and analyze electrical systems and supports digitalization of the electrical industry.

At the Seminar, engineers from EVNPECC4 were introduced by the expert team from TPK Electric – Eaton Electric to new Modules of the underground cable analysis software CYMCAP: Module for 3D cable modeling and calculation, Module for submarine cable and underground buried cable modeling and calculation.

The expert team from TPK Electric – Eaton Electric introduced to engineers from EVNPECC4 about the electrical system analysis software CYMDIST - providing tools to support power grid analysis in the context of integrating multiple new energy sources such as renewable energy, energy storage batteries and electric vehicle charging stations into the distribution grid. Accordingly, experts from TPK Electric – Eaton Electric shared new Modules of CYMDIST: Module for modeling and analyzing the impact of renewable energy sources: EVs, Solar, Wind; Module for optimizing capacity and installation location of BESS.
In addition, experts from TPK Electric – Eaton Electric also shared about the application of CYMCAP software for underground cable projects in Vietnam. Also at this Seminar, Mr. Huynh Kim Long – Engineer from Power System Technology Application & Database Centre of EVNPECC4 participated in discussing the application of CYMCAP software applied to some actual projects of the Company in recent times.
