EVNPECC4 delegation visited and worked with TEPSCO in Japan
In addition to fulfilling production and business plan, Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (EVNPECC4) in 2023 also focuses on enhancing training and research activities to improve the quality and effectiveness of engineering consulting and power projects in Vietnam particularly, as well as meeting clients’ satisfaction in general. From May 24th to May 30th, 2023, the EVNPECC4 delegation, led by Mr. Le Cao Quyen, Chairman of the Board, visited and worked with Tokyo Electric Power Services Company Limited (TEPSCO) in Japan.
During this trip, the officials and engineers from EVNPECC4 visited and worked at TEPSCO's headquarters and TEPSCO’s Load Dispatch Center.
The EVNPECC4 delegation, led by Mr. Le Cao Quyen, Chairman of the Board, had a visit and working trip to Japan according to the invitation of TEPSCO.
Additionally, the EVNPECC4 delegation visited the Higashi Uchisaiwaichou 275kV Underground Substation, which has a voltage level of 275kV/66kV and transformer capacity of 3x300MVA (in operation since 1997).
The delegation also had the opportunity to visit the Shiobara Pumped Storage Hydropower Plant. The Shiobara Pumped Storage Hydropower Plant consists of two fixed-speed units (operated since 1994) and one adjustable-speed unit (operated since 1995).

Furthermore, during their business trip to Japan, in connection with TEPSCO's partners, the delegation had the chance to learn directly about the equipment manufacturing plant of TOSHIBA in Keihin (Yokohama). This facility manufactures turbines and generators for Toshiba's hydropower and thermal power projects in Japan and worldwide.
The TOSHIBA equipment manufacturing plant has supplied equipment to various power plants in Vietnam, such as Trung Son, Da Mi, Ham Thuan, Da Nhim hydropower plants, and Van Phong 1 thermal power plant. Therefore, the EVNPECC4 delegation listened to presentations about TOSHIBA's capabilities and experiences, visited the turbine generator manufacturing workshop, the inspection room of non-destructive testing of Hydroelectric Turbine Runner, and the testing line of Hydroelectric Turbine Runner model.
