EVNPECC4 made an impressive presentationat the Technical Seminar - “Applying CYME software to the renewable energy project in Vietnam”
On July 10, 2023, in Ho Chi Minh City, Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (EVNPECC4) participated in the technical workshop “Applying CYME software to the renewable energy project in Vietnam” co-organized by Eaton Group and Power System Technological Solution Co., Ltd. (PSTS).
At the seminar, guests were introduced by the organizer to CYME software capabilities and CYME's new approaches to address challenges posed by the rapid growth of renewable energy. CYME also presented the latest research on EV, DER, etc. which will be applied in the coming time by Ms. Nathalie Ardaya - Director of CYME software, Eaton Group.

At this workshop, Mr. Huynh Kim Long - Power system calculation engineer, EVNPECC4’s Research and Development Center had the honor to present "Underground cables modeling and analysis" sharing experience in applying CYMCAP software to analyze the ampacity of underground cables under different installation conditions in EVNPECC4’s actual projects such as Bac Ai Pumped Storage Hydropower Plant, EA NAM Wind Farm, 220kV Phu Lam - Dam Sen Transmission Line, etc.
In the impressive EVNPECC4’s presentation, Engineer Huynh Kim Long assessed that applying CYMCAP software to calculate underground cable ampacity helps improve consulting service quality for transmission and distribution projects using underground cable system.

The technical seminar “Applying CYME software to the renewable energy project in Vietnam” was held openly and very successfully, creating a forum for exchange and sharing. Especially, EVNPECC4's presentation received a lot of interest and good questions from participating delegates and experts.
