EVNPECC4 successfully organized a conference to review business performance in 2023 and deploy tasks in 2024

On January 26^th 2024, at the Quinter Central Hotel in Nha Trang city, the Party Committee and Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (EVNPECC4) successfully organized the conference to review business performance in 2023 and deploy tasks in 2024.

The conference was attended by Mr. Le Cao Quyen – Secretary of the Party Committee cum Chairman of the Board; Mr. Tran Cao Hy - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board, General Director of the Company; the Executive Committee of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, the Executive Board of the Company along with all officials, party members, and employees of EVNPECC4. The conference also welcomed Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Yen – Member of the Board of Supervisors; Mr. Truong Hai Quang – Director of Buon Don Hydropower Joint Stock Company.

The conference sequentially approved the Party Committee's annual report for 2023, tasks for 2024; the performance assessment report and the existing difficulties and challenges of the past year; outlined the direction, tasks, and solutions for implementing the 2024 plan; the Company's Labor Union launched the emulation movement for 2024; and honored collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in 2023.

In 2023, despite the general difficulties faced by the country and the power sector, with the constant and close direction of the Party Committee and the relentless efforts and unity of all officials, party members, and employees, EVNPECC4 successfully achieved its business production tasks: both revenue and profit exceeded the planned targets. Total revenue reached 226 billion VND (of which consulting revenue was 201.9 billion VND), and after-tax profit was 32.7 billion VND.

During the year, EVNPECC4 promoted market expansion activities and sought contracts, focusing on the consultancy fields of power grid, hydropower, LNG thermal power, and renewable energy.

The company’s Executive Board and all employees worked hard to overcome difficulties, focusing on completing key, urgent projects with significant economic, political, and social implications for the power sector, such as the 500kV Van Phong – Vinh Tan transmission line to relieve capacity for the BOT Van Phong Power Plant; the 500kV Nam Dinh I - Thanh Hoa, Nam Dinh I - Pho Noi transmission lines (two key, urgent projects in the 500kV transmission line projects circuit 3, 4 from Quang Trach to Pho Noi, which were strongly directed by the Government and EVN to expedite completion and operation by June 2024); completing the technical design of the Bac Ai pumped-storage hydropower project for approval...

With these achievements, at the Vietnam Electricity (EVN) Review Conference, the Company was once again honored as one of two units under the EVN being proposed to receive the Excellent Emulation Flag for 2023 from the Prime Minister.

Additionally, to assess the achievements, share experiences gained in 2023, and propose solutions and recommendations to the Company, the Conference listened to presentations on "Solutions to ensure the progress and quality of detailed design documents for urgent, key projects: 500KV Nam Dinh I - Thanh Hoa/Pho Noi" (Power Transmission Line Engineering Centre); "Promoting the application of BIM models in surveying and engineering projects" (Research and Development Centre); "Solutions for market and customer development outside EVN to increase production volume and revenue" (General Survey Enterprise). Delegates also watched a video summarizing the Company's notable activities in 2023.

On this occasion, the Conference honored collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in 2023. Accordingly, the company had 56 grassroots emulation soldiers, 2 collectives were awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag by EVN, 3 collectives and 10 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by EVN; 1 collective was awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag by the Commission for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises;6 collectives and 16 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Commission for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises.

Looking ahead to 2024, the Company will continue to face many difficulties and challenges. Building on the achievements of 2023, the Executive Board and all employees of EVNPECC4 are determined to strive with the highest sense of responsibilities and efforts to achieve and exceed the set business production targets for 2024.
