EVN’s leaders inspected the construction site of 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen transmission line in Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho

On March 24^th, EVN’s Vice President Mr.Pham Hong Phuong directly inspected the construction progress of packages 8, 9, and 10 of the 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen transmission line project in Vinh Phuc and Phu Tho provinces.

In the first week following the groundbreaking command issued by the Prime Minister (on March 16^th), the construction of the 500kV Lao Cai – Vinh Yen transmission line has been urgently and actively implemented by EVN and contractors.

Through on-site inspection, EVN’s leaders noted that some contractors have adopted the spirit of "overcoming heat, conquering rain," "3 shifts, 4 teams," and valuable lessons learned from the 500kV circuit-3 transmission line project to implement this project with the highest determination.

EVN’s leaders required contractors to continue mobilizing additional human resources and arranging more machinery and equipment; they must deploy simultaneously at all foundation positions. Specifically, for package 8, Viet A contractor must mobilize sufficient excavators to simultaneously work at 24 foundation positions in March. For package 9, PCC1 Ninh Binh contractor must urgently supplement manpower for steel construction at positions where excavation is completed; coordinate with partners to immediately pour concrete at foundations that meet conditions. For package 10, Song Da 5 contractor must mobilize 22 teams to work at 22 positions by the end of March.

The EVN’s Vice President also directed the supervision consultant to promptly accept phase transitions, closely monitor construction conditions and developments at the site for timely supervision. Power Project Management Board 1 should continue to strictly manage the project, implementing simultaneous solutions to ensure progress and quality.
