Inauguration Ceremony of the Vietnam National Innovation Center (NIC)

On October 28^th 2023, at Hoa Lac High-Tech Park - Hanoi, with the witness of the Prime Minister, Leaders of Central Ministries and Departments and hundreds of domestic and foreign enterprises, the Vietnam National Innovation Center has officially come into operation, opening up a new opportunity for promoting growth based on Vietnam's science and technology development.

In the first series of NIC activities, the High-Level Forum "Energy Transition and Green Hydrogen Development in Vietnam" received special attention, due to the attraction of a very new field, not only in Vietnam but also in the world, which is the Green Hydrogen Industry.

At the forum, the Minister of Planning & Investment and the Deputy Minister of Industry & Trade made commitments to strongly support the development of the Green Hydrogen supply chain, considering this as an important solution to achieve the goal of Net - Zero Carbon by 2050 as committed by the Government.

Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (EVNPECC4) is one of the pioneers in researching this field. EVNPECC4 had initial agreements with representatives of the Department of Enterprise Development/ MPI, MoIT, Investors and other Consultants to pilot Hydrogen project development in Hanoi, Can Tho and other Mekong Delta provinces under the Government's Green Growth Strategy (GGS).

With the contributions of authorities at all levels, the Hydrogen field is expected to soon become a sustainable development industry in Vietnam.
