Inauguration of IA PET - DAK DOA 1&2 wind power plants - EVNPECC4 - Trust building from consulting value

On January 14, 2022, Ia Pet - Dak Doa 1 and Ia Pet - Dak Doa 2 wind power plants (WPPs) have been solemnly inaugurated.

Ia Pet - Dak Doa 1 & 2 WPPs are located in Dak Doa district, Gia Lai province. Project’s scope includes:

-         02 WPPs with total capacity of 200MW include 44 wind turbines of Envision and Dongfang manufacturers with capacity of 4,5MW each, 140m hub height, and 155m rotor diameter; internal 35kV power grid connects wind turbines and other auxiliary systems;

-         01 step-up substation of 35/220kV – 2x125MVA for wind turbine capacity colleciton;

-         01 step-up substation 220/500kV – 1x900MVA, connected to existing 500kV Pleiku 2 substation beside;

-      220kV transmission line with about 20 km length connected from the 220kV substation of the power plant to the 500kV substation.

The Ia Pet - Dak Doa 1 & 2 WPPs account for more than one third of the total capacity that can be COD before November 1, 2021 in Gia Lai province.

EVNPECC4 – From the first bricks…

As a Consultant accompanying the Investor from the preliminary steps in developing the project, EVNPECC4 surveyed, prepared a Site location proposal report, Master plan supplementing report and Feasibility study – Basic design report of the project.

EVNPECC4 came up with the optimal solution in terms of the grid connection alternative, the ability to release the entire plant capacity by 220kV & 500kV power grids, and at the same time, optimizing the turbine layout and the project's land occupancy, ensuring a harmonious combination of the power plant and agro-forestry production activities on the existing land area.

From the trust of the Investor in the previous design steps, EVNPECC4 continues to participate in the implementation of the next design steps of the project.

Despite going through many difficulties and pressures on progress, all 200MW of the 2 wind power plants Ia Pet - Dak Doa 1 & 2 were safely operated commercially before the expiration date of the FIT price on November 1, 2021. This is a worthy achievement of the project that EVNPECC4 has contributed.
