Opening Ceremony of Military Training and Political Education Course for EVNPECC4 Self-Defense Force in 2023
On the morning of August 21, 2023, at Vo Dong Village Hall, Vinh Trung Commune, Nha Trang City, the Military Command of Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (EVNPECC4) held an opening ceremony for a military training and political education course for the Company's Self-Defense force.
Attending the ceremony were Lieutenant Colonel Tran Ngoc Khanh, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Nha Trang City Military Command; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai from Nha Trang City Military Command, in charge of military training for self-defense forces; and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son - Head of Human Resources Department of EVNPECC4.

TheEVNPECC4‘s Self-Defense Force Platoon attending this training course comprises 31 cadres and soldiers divided into 3 squads. During the course, they will study political education on Vietnam's Marine Economic Development Strategy to 2030, Vision to 2045; socio-economic, political security, social-safety order and local defense & military tasks in 2023; key contents of the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, Vietnam's Law of the Sea, and the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the East Sea; the self-defense force's mass mobilization work and participation in building the all-people national defense to protect the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the new situation.
The EVNPECC4‘s Self-Defense Force Platoon will also acquire knowledge and practice infantry combat techniques (chemical protection, grenade techniques, shooting techniques, obstacle techniques, tactics), and participate in live-fire shooting practice at Dac Loc Village's shooting range, Vinh Phuong Commune, Nha Trang City.
The training course aims to enhance awareness of politics, thoroughly grasp the Party and State's foreign policies in the current period; combine economy with strengthening national defense and security in defending the Homeland... Thereby, the EVNPECC4‘s Self-Defense Force will improve technical and tactical capabilities, skills in using weapons and ammunition, combat coordination and flexibly apply for different terrains and geography in order to meet operational requirements in the current situation. The military training and political education course for the EVNPECC4‘s Self-Defense Force concludes on August 27, 2023.
