Party Committee of EVNNPT: Nameplate mounting for 220kV transmission line of Hai Duong Thermal Power Plant – Pho Noi 500kV Substation

 The ceremony to inaugurate the nameplate for the 220kV transmission line of Hai Duong Thermal Power Plant – Pho Noi 500kV Substation, celebrating the 4th Congress of the Party Committee of the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) for the 2025–2030 term, was held on April 12 at the Pho Noi 500kV substation in Hung Yen province.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Party Committee and the People's Committee of Viet Hung Commune, Van Lam District, Hung Yen Province.

EVNNPT attendees included Mr. Nguyen Tuan Tung – Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of EVNNPT; Mr. Pham Le Phu – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President and CEO of EVNNPT; Mr. Vu Hong Nguyen – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of EVNNPT; Mr. Trinh Tuan Son – Member of the Party Committee’s Standing Board and Chairman of the EVNNPT Trade Union; Mr. Hoang Van Tuyen – Member of the Party Committee’s Executive Committee and Deputy General Director of EVNNPT, along with leaders from the Party Committee's departments, EVNNPT’s advisory divisions, the Management Board of Northern Power Projects (NPMB), and contractors involved in the project.

Under the leadership of the Party Committee of EVN and EVNNPT, the entire corporation has overcome challenges and successfully commenced 161 projects and energized 187 projects during the 2020–2025 term. These efforts have contributed to EVN’s mission of ensuring power supply for the country’s socio-economic development, including the 220kV Hai Duong Thermal Power Plant – Pho Noi 500kV Substation transmission line.

Reporting at the ceremony, Mr. Phung Bao Anh – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of NPMB, stated that the 220kV Hai Duong – Pho Noi Substation transmission line is a level-I, group B energy infrastructure project, with EVNNPT as the investor, NPMB as the project manager, and Power Transmission Company No. 1 (PTC1) as the operational unit. The project spans the areas of Kinh Mon Town, Thanh Ha, Tu Ky, Gia Loc, Cam Giang districts, Hai Duong City (Hai Duong province); Luong Tai District (Bac Ninh province); and Van Lam District (Hung Yen province).

The project has a total investment of over VND 837 billion, with a total length of more than 56.8 kilometers. It is designed with a 220kV voltage level, comprising two circuits, with certain sections constructed as 4-circuit and 6-circuit 220/110kV lines. 

For this 220kV Hai Duong Thermal Power Plant – 500kV Pho Noi Substation Transmission Line Project, Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (EVNPECC4) provided site supervision consulting service (including construction supervision, equipment installation supervision, and testing & commissioning for the work items under Tender Package No. 15: construction of the transmission line from G19-DC and Bay Extension at the 500kV Pho Noi Substation (including testing the SCADA information system connection).

Upon completion, the project will meet the increasing load demand in the Northeastern region and the Northern power system; ensure power transmission from Hai Duong Thermal Power Plant; strengthen the loop interconnection between regions in the power system; enhance the safety and stability of the national grid; reduce power transmission losses; and improve the overall operational efficiency of the power system.
