Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 discussed collaboration opportunities with Vietnam Power Development Joint Stock Company (VNPD)

On February 9, 2023, at the headquarters located at 11 Hoang Hoa Tham, Nha Trang, the Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (EVNPECC4) had a meeting with the delegation from Vietnam Power Development Joint Stock Company (VNPD).

Mr. Le Cao Quyen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EVNPECC4, directly exchanged discussions with Mr. Nguyen Hoang Dao, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VNPD, regarding the cooperation in the energy sector between the two companies.

VNPD is responsible for managing and operating three hydropower plants, including Khe Bo Hydropower Plant, Bac Binh Hydropower Plant, Nam Ma Hydropower Plant, and one engineering consulting center. Currently, these three hydropower plants are operating stably, and in the future, VNPD intends to expand investments in other forms of renewable energy.

EVNPECC4 is one of the leading enterprises in Vietnam, specializing in power engineering consulting including construction consulting, bidding consulting, project management consulting, planning, surveying, engineering, and construction supervision for electrical, civil, industrial, transportation, water resources, and technical infrastructure projects.

During the meeting, the two companies agreed to share mutual support and promote business cooperation in various activities such as operation & maintenance consulting services for VNPD's existing hydropower plants: displacement monitoring, dam safety assessment, digitalization of plants, renovation and upgrading, procurement and installation, as well as exploring opportunities for collaboration in renewable energy projects, including but not limited to hydropower, wind power, solar power, biomass energy, hydrogen…

500kV Hoa Binh Substation Upgraded to 1,800MVA, Strengthening Power Supply for Northern Vietnam Ahead of This Year’s Peak Heat Season

At 20:22 on April 29th 2026, the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), in coordination with the Power Transmission Project Management Board (NPTPMB) and the National Power System and Market Operation Co., Ltd. (NSMO), successfully energized the project to upgrade the capacity of the 500kV Hoa Binh Substation, increasing its capacity from 1,350MVA to 1,800MVA.

EVNNPT Labor Union Supports Construction Site, Accelerates Completion of the 500kV Hoa Binh Substation Capacity Upgrade Project on Schedule

Investment of VND 3,000 billion to develop a waste-to-energy plant in Khanh Son

On the morning of March 19th, the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank), in coordination with Vietnam Environment Joint Stock Company (a member of the Amaccao Group), held a signing ceremony for a credit agreement and an insurance contract to implement the Khanh Son waste-to-energy plant project (Hoa Khanh Ward, Da Nang City).
