Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 signed cooperation agreement with Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City
Leveraging the strengths of each party, Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (EVNPECC4) and Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) have proceeded to sign a cooperation agreement to enhance operational efficiency in accordance with the functions and missions of both sides.
On November 14th 2025, EVNPECC4 and IUH officially signed a cooperation agreement, opening up numerous opportunities for training, research, and practical experience for students, particularly in the field of electrical engineering.
Attending the ceremony, representatives from EVNPECC4 included Mr. Le Cao Quyen - Chairman of the Board, Mr. Nguyen Chi Quang - Member of the Board, along with leaders of specialized centres. Representatives from IUH included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Trung Hieu - Chairman of the University Council; Dr. Tran Thanh Ngoc - Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Technology, along with leaders of various units. Notably, the signing ceremony was also attended by Prof. Dr. Tran Quoc Tuan - Director of Research at the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA).
EVNPECC4 is currently one of Vietnam's leading consulting firms, possessing a modern equipment system, advanced technology and software, along with a high-quality workforce capable of implementing technical and technological solutions for the power sector and clients.
Based on the advantages of each party, the two units agreed to cooperate in key areas:
- Scientific research and new technology: Cooperation to address emerging issues in Vietnam's power system in the coming period, when numerous renewable energy sources, LNG power centers, nuclear power, and flexible power sources are put into operation. Maximize existing resources to research and develop practical application products.
- Training and human resource development: Support guidance for master's theses and doctoral dissertations for IUH's graduate students and doctoral candidates; organize internship and practical training programs at power projects; co-organize specialized seminars and conferences; assign EVNPECC4 experts to participate in teaching and sharing practical experience; IUH participates in internal training or technical consulting for EVNPECC4. Both parties will also coordinate in organizing short-term training courses, online programs, and postgraduate programs.
- Research - transfer - commercialization of new products: Coordinate in developing and testing products and software; register patents, utility solutions, and share intellectual property rights according to agreements; cooperate in technology transfer and technical standards serving production and training.
Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Trung Hieu emphasized: "IUH is a key university of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, with over 65 years of experience in training and research in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, automotive, automation, information technology, biology, and environment. The university has a modern laboratory system and a high-quality teaching staff, well meeting the research requirements and human resource needs of enterprises. The cooperation between IUH and EVNPECC4 will maximize existing strengths, while creating a research - learning - development environment for high-quality technical human resources for Vietnam's power sector."
