Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 successfully organized the 2020 Workers' Conference
To promote direct democracy for workers, create conditions for workers to be informed, participate in opinions, make decisions, and monitor issues related to their rights, interests, obligations, and responsibilities. On October 29, 2020, in Nha Trang City, Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (EVNPECC4) successfully organized the 2020 Workers' Conference.
The conference was attended by the Chairman, members of the Board, the General Director, and leaders of various units, along with nearly 300 employees.
During the conference, the EVNPECC4's General Director reported on implementing production and business tasks for the first 9 months of 2020 and deploying tasks for the remaining months of 2020. The report also covered the implementation of policies related to the rights and interests of workers. During the first 9 months of 2020, the company continued to carry out projects from 2019 and signed new contracts, with notable projects such as the Bac Ai Pumped-Storage Hydropower project, 500kV substations and transmission lines, and several large-scale wind and solar power projects. The company completed the survey and engineering tasks, achieving 68.5% of the planned revenue and 71.6% of the after-tax profit.
The company has implemented various practical mechanisms and policies to ensure employment and improve workers' material and spiritual lives. The workers' income was stable and higher than the previous year, with a 10% increase in the first 9 months of 2020 compared to 2019. The company and the Labor Union have coordinated to organize many cultural and sports activities, providing opportunities for workers to improve their health and enhance their spiritual well-being.
During the conference, leaders from different units actively discussed solutions to exceed the targets for production and business tasks in the remaining months of the year and for the entire year of 2020.
In response to the call from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Vietnam Electricity to support the people in the Central region in overcoming the consequences of storms and floods, the company's leadership and the Labor Union unanimously agreed to contribute 136,305,000 VND from the salary fund to support the affected people in the Central region.
At the Workers' Conference, EVNPECC4 called for contributions from all employees, raising a total of 28,758,000 VND to support the people in the Central region affected by storms and floods.
