At 02:05 a.m. on January 31st 2024, Power Project Management Board 2 (EVNPMB2), in coordination with related units, organized the energization to put the 220kV Vinh Hao Substation and 220kV connecting transmission line project into operation (in Vinh Hai village, Vinh Hao commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province).

This is a Grade I, Group B energy project invested by Vietnam Electricity (EVN), with EVNPMB2 representing EVN to manage and direct the project implementation. The engineering and construction consultants are the consortium of Telematic Joint Stock Company, Computer - Communication - Control 3C Incorporation, Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (EVNPECC4) - Toshiba Transmission & Distribution Systems (Vietnam) Ltd. - Alphanam E&C Joint Stock Company. Power Transmission Company No.3 is the operating unit.

Power Project Management Board 2 and units carried out the energization of 220kV Vinh Hao Substation and 220kV Connecting Transmission Line Project

The project aims to strengthen transmission network capacity, relieve renewable energy generation capacity in Binh Thuan and neighboring provinces, ensure reliable operation of the 110kV Phan Ri - Ninh Phuoc transmission line. At the same time, it contributes to meeting the N-1 criterion, enhancing reliability and safety of electricity supply to the regional grid.
