Successful energization of 220kV Vinh Hao substation and connecting transmission line
At 02:05 a.m. on January 31st 2024, Power Project Management Board 2 (EVNPMB2), in coordination with related units, organized the energization to put the 220kV Vinh Hao Substation and 220kV connecting transmission line project into operation (in Vinh Hai village, Vinh Hao commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province).
This is a Grade I, Group B energy project invested by Vietnam Electricity (EVN), with EVNPMB2 representing EVN to manage and direct the project implementation. The engineering and construction consultants are the consortium of Telematic Joint Stock Company, Computer - Communication - Control 3C Incorporation, Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (EVNPECC4) - Toshiba Transmission & Distribution Systems (Vietnam) Ltd. - Alphanam E&C Joint Stock Company. Power Transmission Company No.3 is the operating unit.
Power Project Management Board 2 and units carried out the energization of 220kV Vinh Hao Substation and 220kV Connecting Transmission Line Project
The project aims to strengthen transmission network capacity, relieve renewable energy generation capacity in Binh Thuan and neighboring provinces, ensure reliable operation of the 110kV Phan Ri - Ninh Phuoc transmission line. At the same time, it contributes to meeting the N-1 criterion, enhancing reliability and safety of electricity supply to the regional grid.
220/110/22kV-250MVA Transformer at the 220kV Vinh Hao substation
The project includes 2 components: The substation part - implemented the new 220/110kV substation construction with a total capacity of 500 MVA (this phase installed 01 220/110kV transformer - 250 MVA); The 220kV area has a scale of 06 bays, this phase carried out equipment installation for 04 220kV bays, reserving positions for 02 bays; for 110 kV switchyard, equipment was installed for 01 incoming feeder located in the existing reserve land at 110kV Vinh Hai Switching Substation; Control, protection, measurement, metering, information and communication systems and SCADA: were equipped in accordance with EVN and EVNNPT regulations; complying with current standards and regulations. The 220kV connecting transmission line part - built a new section connecting 02 and 04 circuits which is transitionally connected to the 220kV Vinh Tan - Phan Ri transmission line, about 1.3 km length.
