The 220kV Chu Se Substation and Interconnection have been energized
At 9:50 AM on August 1st, in Gia Lai province, Central Power Project Management Board (EVNCPMB), coordinating with relevant units, organized the acceptance and energization of the 220kV Chu Se Substation and Interconnection project.
The 220kV Chu Se Substation and Interconnection Line
This is a Grade I industrial electricity project, Group B, invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), managed by EVNCPMB, engineered by Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (EVNPECC4), and operated by Power Transmission Company 3. The project has been implemented since the end of 2019 in Ia Pal commune, Chu Se district, Gia Lai province.
The project involves the construction of a new 220/110/22kV substation with a planned capacity of 2x125MVA. In this phase, one 125MVA transformer has been installed. The 220kV branch line consists of two circuits, approximately 0.39km in length, connecting to the existing 220kV Pleiku 2 - Krong Buk transmission line.
Within the project scope, the installation of lightning protection wires combined with optical cables on the existing 220kV Pleiku 2 - Krong Buk transmission line has been carried out, along with additional lightning protection wires at certain pole sections to share the single-phase short-circuit current.
The completion of the project holds significant importance in ensuring electricity supply to Gia Lai province and surrounding areas, collecting renewable energy sources in the region for transmission to the national grid, reducing power losses in the regional power grid, and improving the voltage of the 110kV power grid in the area.
