The energization of 110kV Suoi Ngo Substation and Connecting Transmission Lines in Tay Ninh province

The 110kV Suoi Ngo Substation and Connecting Transmission Lines project in Tay Ninh province is invested by Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC), managed by Southern Power Project Management Board - a subordinate unit of EVNSPC, and Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (EVNPECC4) is the consulting unit for survey and design from feasibility study stage to detailed design stage.

At 19:45 on December 29, 2023, thanks to the efforts of the leadership, engineers who directly involved in the project from EVNPECC4 along with related parties, and the close attention, support and direction from the leaders of EVNSPC and Southern Power Project Management Board, the 110kV Suoi Ngo Substation and Connecting Transmission Lines was successfully energized and connected to the grid, ready to ensure the continuous, safe and stable power supply in Tay Ninh province.

With a total investment capital of over 63 billion VND, the 110kV Suoi Ngo Substation and Connecting Transmission Lines in Tay Ninh province consist of 02 110/22kV transformers with a capacity of 63 MVA along with a modern, fully automated control and monitoring system following EVNSPC’s design standards for the unmanned operation of 110kV substations.

In the first phase which just completed, the 110kV Suoi Ngo Substation and Connecting Transmission Lines are equipped with 01 110/22kV transformer with a capacity of 63MVA, connected to the 110kV transmission line from Tan Hung to Tay Ninh Cement at tower T60.

The 110kV Suoi Ngo Substation and Connecting Transmission Lines invested by EVNSPC aims to enhance electricity supply capability and ensure safe and stable power supply to meet load demand in Tan Chau district and neighboring districts of Tay Ninh province, making significant contributions to the socio-economic development of Tan Chau district and Tay Ninh province in general.
