Urgently construct Nam Dinh I TPP-Thanh Hoa 500kV transmission line

The National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) has just organized the construction of Nam Dinh I Thermal Power Plant (TPP)-Thanh Hoa 500kV transmission line, under the 500kV circuit 3 transmission line projects from Quang Trach ( Quang Binh) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen).

In recent times, with the drastic direction of the Government and the Prime Minister, the participation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Committee for Management of State Capital at Enterprises (CMSC), the Ministry of Planning and Investment, and many ministries, branches, agencies, and localities, and the constant attention of EVN leaders, the project has soon completed the necessary legal procedures to be able to start construction.

In particular, after the Prime Minister's direction, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha chaired a meeting with ministries, branches, and 9 localities on the implementation of 500kV circuit 3 transmission line projects.

Minister of Industry and Trade - Standing Deputy Head of the National Steering Committee for Electricity Development Nguyen Hong Dien also chaired many meetings with CMSC, EVN, EVNNPT, and related localities to discuss and agree on solutions to accelerate the implementation of 500kV circuit 3 transmission line projects. Minister Nguyen Hong Dien directed the Department of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Office of the National Steering Committee for Electricity Development coordinate closely with EVNNPT to parallel carry out related work following functions and tasks to soon complete project investment procedures. At the same time, Dien requested the People's Committees of provinces where the project passes through to keep the project's route updated and agreed with EVNNPT; Complete procedures for converting rice fields and forest land right after the project is approved; Focus on doing well site clearance to hand over the non-dispute site to the investor as soon as possible to start construction.

On the investor side, EVNNPT has been continuing to mobilize maximum resources, working day and night, without days off, etc. to speed up project implementation. EVNNPT has proactively arranged and organized the simultaneous implementation of project work and allocated adequate capital to implement the project; Proactively coordinated closely with localities in site clearance and gathered human resources, machinery, and materials to organize construction immediately after receiving the site.

To ensure the implementation progress following the direction of the Prime Minister, EVN and EVNNPT recommend that relevant ministries and branches continue to pay attention and provide maximum support to investors throughout the project implementation process. EVN and EVNNPT recommend that provinces where the line passes through actively create favorable conditions and support investors to quickly complete compensation and site clearance to organize construction work. Contractors, engineering consultants, and supervision consultants should urgently mobilize forces to speed up implementation immediately after starting construction, mobilize maximum resources, and give the highest priority to the project.

EVN and EVNNPT are also continuing to coordinate with ministries and branches to complete legal procedures to deploy the remaining 03 projects including Nam Dinh I TPP-Pho Noi, Quang Trach-Quynh Luu, Quynh Luu-Thanh Hoa 500kV transmission line under the direction of the Prime Minister.
