Following the success of the EEE-AM 2023 conference, Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (EVNPECC4) continues to make its mark at the IEEE International Conference: Asia Meeting on Environment and Electrical Engineering 2025 (EEE-AM 2025). At the event held in Hanoi from November 5th to 7th 2025, EVNPECC4 presented two research papers addressing challenges arising from the integration of renewable energy sources into Vietnam’s power grid.

The Center's mission is to lead in R&D, the application of science and technology, digital transformation, and innovation. It is also responsible for managing digital databases, operational data, and power system planning. These efforts aim to create job opportunities and improve the company’s business performance.

In accordance with Decree No. 175/2024/NĐ-CP, signed on December 30, 2024, detailing certain provisions and implementation measures of the Construction Law on construction activity management (This decree materializes Decision No. 258/QĐ-TTg dated March 17, 2023, and replaces Decree No. 15/2021/NĐ-CP dated March 3, 2021, of the Prime Minister), Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (EVNPECC4) has been actively implementing comprehensive solutions to organize and carry out BIM design for transmission power grid projects.

On October 31st 2024, in Nha Trang, Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (EVNPECC4) in collaboration with HUAWEI Digital Power co-organized a workshop introducing Grid Forming Technology solutions for the construction and improvement of Vietnamese Power Grid System. Mr. Dong Trinh Hoang - Deputy General Director of EVNPECC4 chaired the workshop along with speakers from HUAWEI Digital Power.

On October 10th, in Hanoi, China Power Engineering Consulting Group Co., Ltd. (CPECC) organized the Vietnam Green Energy Transition Workshop. A delegation from Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (EVNPECC4), led by Dr. Le Cao Quyen - Chairman of the Board of Directors, attended and presented at this international workshop.

On September 12th and 13th 2024, Vietnam Electricity (EVN) organized a specialized workshop on the application of the Electromagnetic Transients Program (EMTP) in power systems with a high proportion of renewable energy. Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (EVNPECC4) had the honor of contributing a presentation "Analysis of sub-synchronous oscillations in power systems using EMTP: SSR analysis for thermal power plants and SSCI for large-scale wind power plants" at the workshop.

Wind power is a renewable energy source with excess potential in Vietnam. According to the Power Development Plan VIII, the technical potential for onshore wind power is about 221 GW and offshore wind is up to 600 GW. However, so far only more than 100 plants with nearly 5,000 MW installed capacity have been operating commercially. The wind power plants provide a significant amount of source capacity contributing to ensure national energy security and local economic.
