On November 28, 2019, at the company's headquarters, Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (EVNPECC4) collaborated with New Technology Investment and Development Group (NTECH) and PMI Electric Equipment Manufacturer from Turkey to organize a technical workshop on the topic of 'Enhancing Quality and Remote Monitoring of DC Power Systems in Substations.'
Representatives of electrical officers and engineers from various centers attended the workshop, including the Substation Engineering Centre, the Thermal Power and New Energy Engineering Centre, the Hydropower and Renewable Energy Engineering Centre, and the Quality Management and R&D Department.
During the workshop, Mr. Pham Van Tinh, CEO of NTECH, and Mr. Jaffry Mongan, Southeast Asia Sales Director representing PMI Electric Equipment Manufacturer from Turkey, exchanged and shared experiences on the solutions for enhancing the quality and remote monitoring of DC power systems in substations. This included introducing monitoring devices for battery systems and monitoring the grounding touch of positive and negative sources in the DC power system. Notably, advanced converter solutions (Buck-Dropper) were introduced, which have several advantages over traditional Dropper Diodes solutions in battery charging systems.
