After more than 6 months of construction, the 500kV circuit 3 transmission line from Quang Trach to Pho Noi (including 4 sections) with a length of over 500km has been completed. This achievement is considered unprecedented compared to previous 500kV transmission line construction works.

At 17:30, August 19th 2024, the National Power Transmission Corporation, the Northern Power Project Management Board (NPMB) coordinated with relevant units to successfully energize 2 circuits of 500kV circuir-3 transmission line, Nam Dinh 1 - Pho Noi section.

The National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) and the Central Vietnam Power Project Management Board (CPMB) in collaboration with relevant units sent electricity to the Quynh Luu - Thanh Hoa 500kV Circuit-3 transmission line on August 19 morning.

The investor-level acceptance council of the 500kV circuit-3 transmission line project, Nam Dinh I TPP - Pho Noi section, had a meeting on the afternoon of August 16th 2024, in Hung Yen. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tan - Deputy General Director of the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) and Mr. Bui Van Kien - Deputy General Director of EVNNPT, Chairman of the Acceptance Council affirmed that the project has met the conditions and is ready to be energized.

At 11:48 a.m., 30 June 2024, the National Power Transmission Corporation and the Northern Power Project Management Board (NPMB) in coordination with relevant units successfully energized the 500kV circuit 3 transmission line, Thanh Hoa - Nam Dinh section, meeting the Prime Minister's direction requirements.

The investor's Acceptance committee for the 500kV circuit-3 transmission line project, Nam Dinh I TPP - Thanh Hoa section had a meeting on the afternoon of June 27th 2024, in Thanh Hoa province. Mr. Luu Viet Tien - Deputy General Director of the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), Chairman of the Acceptance committee, confirmed that the project has met all conditions and is ready for energization.

At 2:35 AM on June 18th 2024, at the 500kV Pho Noi substation, The Northern Vietnam Power Projects Management Board (NPMB) collaborated with related units to successfully energize the expansion of bays 585 and 586 at the 500kV Pho Noi substation and the transmission line section from the two expanded bays to position 319 of the 500kV circuit 3 transmission line project, Nam Dinh I TPP - Pho Noi section, two days ahead of the schedule required by EVNNPT.
