On the morning of February 28th in Hanoi, the Committee for the Advancement of Women (CAW) of Vietnam Electricity (EVN) cooperated with the Vietnam Electricity Labor Union to organize a conference launching the "Men and Gender Equality" movement within EVN. This is one of the components of the cooperation program between EVN and the International Council of Swedish Industry on Gender Equality, with the aim of promoting gender equity and equality within EVN in particular, and society in general.

The emulation launching ceremony for the construction of the 500kV circuit-3 from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen) was organized on the morning of February 27th in Hung Yen by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in coordination with Vietnam Electricity (EVN), with the goal of completing the project in June 2024 as directed by the Prime Minister.

According to Plan No. 21/KH-TLĐ-EVN dated February 26th 2024 issued by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Vietnam Electricity, the emulation movement at the construction site of the 500kV circuit-3 transmission line project from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen) was launched with the theme "Five Best", including: Fastest progress; Best quality; Safest - Most economical; Most creative; Best care for workers’ lives.

On the morning of February 21 in Hanoi, Mr. Dang Hoang An, Chairman of the Board of Vietnam Electricity (EVN), chaired a meeting with contractors participating in the 500kV circuit-3 transmission line project from Quang Trach to Pho Noi to review construction progress and urge contractors to mobilize human resources and equipment to speed up the project's progress. The meeting was held in a combination of in-person and online formats.

At 02:05 a.m. on January 31st 2024, Power Project Management Board 2 (EVNPMB2), in coordination with related units, organized the energization to put the 220kV Vinh Hao Substation and 220kV connecting transmission line project into operation (in Vinh Hai village, Vinh Hao commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province).

On January 18, in Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa and Thai Binh provinces, Vietnam Electricity (EVN) and the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) organized the simultaneous groundbreaking ceremonies for construction of sections along the 500kV transmission line circuit 3 from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen).

On January 1st 2024, General Director of National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) - Mr. Pham Le Phu and a working delegation from EVNNPT inspected the construction site and encouraged all contractor units constructing the 500kV Nam Dinh I Thermal Power Plant – Thanh Hoa Transmission Line, Circuit 3 project.

On December 29, 2023 in Khanh Hoa province, the National Power Transmission Project Management Board (NPTPMB) organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the 220kV Ninh Hoa (Van Ninh) Substation and Connecting Transmission Line project. According to schedule, the project is expected for completion in January 2025.

The 110kV Suoi Ngo Substation and Connecting Transmission Lines project in Tay Ninh province is invested by Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC), managed by Southern Power Project Management Board – a subordinate unit of EVNSPC, and Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (EVNPECC4) is the consulting unit for survey and design from feasibility study stage to detailed design stage.
